What You’ll Need
To qualify for a self-drive classic car rental in Seattle:
- Valid full driving licence held for a minimum of 3 years
- 25 years of age or older
- No major driving convictions in the past 5 years
- Refundable security deposit required at time of rental
- Comfortable with the vehicle’s transmission type (varies by car — we advise at enquiry)

Self-Drive Rental FAQs
A standard full driving licence is all you need. You must have held it for at least 3 years and be 25 or older. We may ask to see your licence at the time of rental to confirm eligibility.
We operate on a fair-use basis. Standard self-drive bookings include a generous mileage allowance suited to a day’s touring around greater Seattle. If you’re planning a longer journey, let us know upfront and we’ll build an appropriate package.
A refundable security deposit is required at time of rental. The amount varies by vehicle. It is fully refunded within 5 business days following return of the vehicle in its original condition, with no incidents to report.
Comprehensive insurance is included with all self-drive rentals. You are responsible for the excess in the event of a claim. Full terms and coverage details are provided in our rental agreement before you confirm your booking — no surprises.
